Interesting , it looks like there are some traces of "crown" above the "X" ,not very visible probably because of the spoon's shape.
Does it mean that this spoon most likely dates to 18th century.

London Caddy Spoon - Pewter or Silver ?
Could forum members help me to identify the caddy spoon. It appears that the lion head could mean silver (it looks very similar to one from 1700), however it is more like pewter.
