I have looked through provincial and colonial marks and not had any luck, the long "fiddle terminal" is very much in the "Scottish" style, l thought one of the marks was a pot of lillies but the lion mark has thrown me, makers mark is clear but have looked to no avail. Appreciate...

Manipulation skills, not very good sadly have been through "West Country Spoons" and no luck will have to sit down with "Grimwades" now l have a better picture, would be great to find the maker, the only Trefid spoon l have

Thanks for that, will retake the mark and this time not "shrink" it great info though many thanks, most of my collection is Georgian and to have a spoon of this age is a real bonus to me :-)

Thank you very much for the idea of turning it around, in fact l think it is T M, if you look at Grimwades 2846, Thomas Mason (1746) mark the M looks like a N with the last stroke of the M very fancy, also the conjoined first stroke of the M is curled around the T and l think the T has folded over t...
