Why somebody have done that kind of circular shapes on a plate?
For me it looks more like a finish of a factory machine.

Pattern on italian plate
This is a bottom of a plate from Italy. Marked with "800" and "376AL" (PERUGGIA & C., Alessandria). I am asking about the grinded pattern on the bottom of this plate - overlaping circles. Is it original or was it made nowadays? I have never seen something like this on a silve...
