I cleand it up a little more and looked at it through a magnifing glass and the best guess is an A but that is just a guess.....its a pretty lil spoon there are some pits it in and the gold color seems to go right into the spoon...I hope this helps a lil bit...and thanx for answering my post... Gold spoon

Hi Im back again....I just ordered rainwaters 4th edition book on silver hallmarks....until I get it Ill have to post here when I am stumped hope you dont mind.....I found this spoon that was black and really in bad shape...I shinned it up and it is a gold color, with the name Parker on the back.......

Can someone tell me if this is plate or sterling.....I went to the Empire Silver Company website and there was no help....Its not marked sterling but as you can see in the picture its stamped Empire Silver Company with a number....and help would be greatful...thanx Connie :) http://sv1.letmehost.com...
