Pseudo or what? Figural spoon

Hi All I have attached photos of an interesting spoon. I believe the woman with anchor and bird is a representation of "Hope." Though hard to see, in her navel area she has a Minerva head with "M". Spoon is about 6 1/2 inches long. It has a mark in a circle above the bowl. The Li...

Re: 835 Fork Mark ID help

Thanks Trev, I believe you are correct. I was a little surprised to find out how little value it has.

Hi All This fork is 5 5/8 inches long. Any ideas on the maker and the purpose of the fork would be appreciated. Very cool spoon 1902

Hi All This spoon has London 1902 marks, looks like "E G & Co" or "B G & Co" to me. It is 4 1/8 in long. Not an exact match on this site. Any ideas on maker or purpose? Thanks, Rich https://i.postimg.cc/4dNTSKxr/20240918-050121.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/ZqLSHP48/20240918-0...

Re: unknown marks, unknown piece

Thanks for the tip. I think you found it. Following up, I did a search on eBay and found a slightly larger cup with different details but the same marks. Great lead. Thanks, Rich

Re: Coin Silver Scoop

Hi
I was rummaging through my silver box and I found a matching sugar sifter ladle. On eBay I found that the pair is called a "berry set." FYI, the scoop is a berry scoop rather than a cracker scoop.

Re: Coin Silver Scoop

UPDATE!!! After reading your info I went on eBay and searched for "butler coin silver." There were a number of pieces that had the mark; some were marked by Butler with different partners. The most definitive was a large ladle that had simply the symbol and "J.P.Butler." To my wa...

I agree with the comments and the mark is certainly close to the one in the article. Thanks for the replies
