How old do you think it really is?
Could it be a 1718 fake of a 16th century spoon?

Hi Everyone! I just found this great Dutch silver folding combination spoon/fork/toothpick! I love it but I have heard that there we fakes of these done in the mid-late 1800's. Good morning Gordon, This is interesting. I have been looking for the maker of this box for some time. I am not sure that it couldn't be Ebbs. The others seemed to work only in silver. This box is the only one I have seen in gold. Have you seen others in gold? Here are a few photos... Please let me ...

Hi Gordon, I know this is an old post and I hope you are still possibly working on trying to figure out the I E makers mark. I am here to throw another version at you.
