Silver plate marks on a lunch or fish fork that was made for the "Indian Army Canteen Board" which operated in India from 1913 to 1927. Looks like a lower case "y"? Possibly 1920?

Does anyone know the maker who used the pound sign for silverplate items?
It is on a cup engraved 'India 1945'.
Thank you

Help with India colonial maker's mark
This mark which I believe is "SO over QC" (?) is on a silver military (based in Bombay) trophy goblet, embossed with Indian figures and foliage, dating to about 1900-1910. Does anyone recognize the maker?
Thank you.
Thank you.

1821 journeyman's mark for Creswick & Co.?
These marks are on the rim of a cut glass jar, which I think are attributed to Creswick & Co., Sheffield, 1821 (Y). However to the left is an additional mark: a square with a cross in it. Could this be a journeyman's mark?

Re: Unrecorded maker "IC" 1790?
Thanks for the information. The 'C' is almost completely washed out/worn so I can't really get a better image. Seems to be likely the unknown/unrecorded "IC" you refer to, notably if it was observed on other mustard pots of a similar age. Yet another unresolved mystery!

Unrecorded maker "IC" 1790?
These marks are on a mustard pot. The maker's mark is worn but looks to be "IC" but I can't find anyone working in this time period.
I also flipped the mark around (CI) but that doesn't help.. neither is it IO or IQ etc.. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Re: Fake Dublin marks 1739?
Thanks again.
Perhaps the overstamp was added due to a slight modification by that silversmith to the original scoop 50 years later..

Thank you for that insightful response! The maker mark does seem to be less worn!

Fake Dublin marks 1739?
These marks are on flatware that seem to indicate Dublin 1739 (letter T) but the maker mark "JO" appears to belong to John Osborne who worked in 1780s-90s. Have they been falsified?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Help with Egyptian hallmarks
Thank you for that information! These marks are on a small fairly recent silver tray. I think the fineness is 900 but unsure about city and date marks. Any suggestions? Thank you. https://i.postimg.cc/8CcvYHM9/s-l1600.jpg Hi there, It has a city mark of Cairo Country mark of Egypt 1946-2005 and last...
