Polishing is fine if you want to wear it, but don’t overdo it.. Removing too much oxidation can hurt the antique value. Just clean lightly, keeping some patina for character and use a soft cloth or mild cleaner, nothing too harsh. Enjoy it! 😊

You can use Webster silver overlay trivets for hot objects, but avoid high heat! The silver might tarnish or warp. Best for teapots, not hot pans. Polish gently if used often. They’refunctional but look better with light use.
