Help with information on Hallmarked Sterling plaque box
This is a sterling silver and lacquer box. The silver plaque on the front has some age. The maker's name "925" and other hallmarks are on the bottom of the plaque. I thought it might be Italian because of the name. Any information on the maker and/or age would be appreciated. Thank you. ht...

I was really off base. Thanks everyone for your responses. I have a number of spoons and forks of this pattern and all the hallmarks are just as faded as this one.
