British hallmarks on Swiss origins? Interesting watch case
Hello everybody. I have this unusual pocket watch. The movement is an interesting one for itself but that's for a different forum :-) As you can see on the back cover, the top carries a 0,800 Swiss purity hallmark . On the sides of the logo there is the London Hallmark and British Sterling Lion (??)...

Help with identification - Hunter pocket watch case - GOLD?
Hello everybody I am looking for information on a <possibly> gold case of a pocket watch in hunter style. Both the back and the front covers are marked with the same hallmark as shown in the photos. From the lack of wear, the gentle patina and the gauge of the case it appears to me that this IS a go...

Not sure about the maker
but 830 purity is widely common in Scandinavia, so I would check in Danish/Norwegian manufacturers. Good luck !

TRENCH WRIST WATCH - When and where?
Hello everybody. I have a trench wrist watch that is very similiar to others I dealt with in the past but I never saw anything like these hallmarks before; I am almost positive the hallmarks are British, for the F.W to be the Fuller maker of London. The 925 is also a typical British hallmark (althou...

This is not so easy to guess without a proper image
However, if the first looks like a castle and the second one is actually a lion passant (may look like a long S on its side actually) then this might be Sterling Silver from Edinburgh.

This IS probably Russian Silver.
THe maker does not seem familiar to me, however 84 is a common Russian mark for Silver and the flipped R is a common Cyrillic letter so that does make sense.

Shalom Uri!
This may be very hard to find, if possible at all, mostly due to the very unusual size. I suppose if someone would sell them, it would be for a complete set in the first place. If you would like to see at least how it would look like, try searching string "JUGENDSTIL WMF" in eBay Germany (...

Hi there
First of all this is an amazing piece! I do not have helpful information on the manufacturer, however this is a classic "jugendstil" (german art nouveau) period item, especially for the handles and therefore estimated in the early 1900, up to WW1. I am pretty sure it used to have adecorate...

Any idea on these marks?
Hi folks, I found this item and I was wondering if it was silver at all or not. This looks like something familiar but I can't spot what exactly... Thanx in advance for your time! It looks like it's all there :-)
If the marks are original then this is an Indian coin silver dish, dating King George's time in the UK(around 1920's), when India was still a part of the British Empire.
