Interesting!

Kronen = Sølv(- og Plet)varefabriken Kronen A/S
Silver(- and Plated)warefactory Kronen Ltd.

Maybe the 'CC' in the crown are not the letters CC, but a part of the crown????

regards, Henrik

Late 1920's or early 1930's, I think. ATLA was used from 1926, and the registration as a trademark was published in 1928.

Re: Carl M Cohr - just for fun and knowledge.

Interesting ash-tray. This is one of the first advertising items form Cohr I have seen. Is there any marks?

'bestikvarer' can be tranlated to 'flatware'

The ""CC in a crown" is NOT a Cohr mark. No one I have asked until now, can identify the maker.

I went through some old undated (about or before 1900 ??) Cohr photos today, and found one showing this ladle next to a tea strainer with the same kind of handle.

Henning Ulrichsen used the mark from 1962.

The mark was registered by the danish Trademark and Patent Office in 1978 and renewed in 1988. The registration was cancelled in 1999.

Hendrik, Many thanks for the correction. Great page on Cohr marks, glad you shared it with us. Have you only documented his marks, or are there pages on other silversmiths? Regards, Tom I have only documented the Cohr marks but I plan to document other silversmiths from Fredericia, Denmark. I start...

Hello, this is my first posting as a member of this Forum. I collect and research Cohr silver, and I have access to Cohr's archives in Fredericia, Denmark. The letters CC in a crown is not Cohr. Cohr's trademark for silverplate was ATLA (from 1926). The FDG-torch is a quality mark for silverplate. P...
