thank you! Its 5 and 1/2 inches. Is there a way for me to tell which year the spoon is from? It has a D on it for the letter.

picture of fork
The back of the fork was hard to photograph without my flash screwing the picture up. But what is shown in the picture is the word pat. 1903 then of the three symbols the furthest left symbol is a lion. the middele one is an anchor and the right symbol is the letter B. http://img1.putfile.com/thumb/...

so on the bakc of the spoon there is a D which can be seen underneath the word sterling, and then to the left of that is what I believe is the makers mark.

I'm sorry the first time I tried this it didn't work right becasue Picasa doesn't work like I thought it did. Anyway, I need help identifying the maker of this oyster fork.
