Hi Pat, Thanks so much for that information. That looks exactly like the mark on my item. (Incidentally, the date letter is a 'q' - as in 'queue' (not 'g') I did find the 'q' date letter for Sheffield which was 1933 ? and the style seems to fit that year. So is this item made by a Glasgow silversmit...
