It is quite small - the pot stands 3.5" high to the top of the lid, and the diameter at the base is 2.5". It could be honey I guess, but I suppose you could put anything in it for the table!

Hi - I know these two pieces are Christofle and Baccarat (the silver plated dish base is hallmarked, see below) and the crystal pot has Baccarat stamped onto the base, but which is impossible to photograph.
