Knife holders

Post by huszas76 »

Hello everyone!
This week I made some pictures about this knife holders.
The easiest is the 4., made in Pest bitween 1872-1937. But this was only a supplement to the original set.
The other 3 pieces is totally unknown for me, I don't know any guild or maker with this marks.

If you have any ideas for the city, the maker and the age of the items, please, let me know!
Best regards!

Hi Krisztián,

My first thought Dutch Frisian; the lion rampant, facing left for the city of Leeuwarden however your lion rampant appears to be crowned or has a number above its head(?)and as of the city of Leewarden; lion rampant in a crowned shield. The lack of a proper Frisian date letter does not support my first thought.
