Hello. I have what appears to be an Asian in origin silver vase. Not sure how to read the mark. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

now that i look at this closer I think it might be russian silver.

hello. I've been web surfing for a while now and am having trouble finding information regarding how to date this type of piece. Do you have any suggestions as to how I might find out when this made approximately?

Sorry, no! The only way is to obtain some information about the specific silversmith and make a guess! Unfortunately, most of the Persian silvers are sold by retailers and there is a little or no information about the makers!
