Good morning. I'd like to define manufacturer, pattern and period in wich this salad set was made.
I've heard that probably it's Christofle, but i'm not so sure.
Can anyone take a look and help me with that?
the pattern looks like on the pictures, on the top of the silver part there's a symbol and i guess some kind of quality mark. (my camera won't catch the details). but the symbol looks like rhombus with some kind of bird in it (looks like a flamingo, a rooster maybe) - it's barely visible.
on the other side there is a quality mark, also barely visible (it looks like 2/0, Z/O, 1/0 maybe).
Christofle's salad set? spoon and fork.

Hi Skanhouse,
Welcome to the Forum.
From your description this sounds like the work of WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), not Christofle.
See: http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_W3.html
'I/O' indicates their regular silver plating.
For confirmation we'll need better images of the marks. Take your photos in daylight, no flash, and use the macro feature on your camera.
