Hi ~ welcome to the forums. Is this spoon marked as silver? From what can be seen here, am doubtful that it's silver, hand-wrought or American...

Thanks Cheryl .. you are 100% correct. I was initially told it was silver plate, but even that turns out not to be the case.
It is actually brass.

Sorry for the confusion .. Admin can remove this thread since it turns out to be unrelated to silver.
