Hello,
I have a pair of earrings that I believe may be Native American. They are of a raven done like a totem symbol. I have attached a photo of the back of an earring. They are dated '94 and stamped Fine Silver. There are multiple hallmarks. One is a symbol which I cannot identify and the others look like initials written in a block format:
HIL
GEF
CRD
Thank you,
Renee

Hi Renee,
Welcome to the Forum.
Try to capture an image using natural daylight, no flash and using the macro feature on your camera.
An image of the whole item would be useful also.

Dognose,
I am posting two other pictures as requested. The hallmark photo is taken outside with no flash and macro, but we haven't seen sunshine for days. It is rainy and cloudy here. My original photo was taken with macro also. I apologize that my camera is not top quality and I can get no closer than this without blurring.

HI Renee
It actually says Hil/Gef/Ord & is the mark of the Northwest artist Peter Hilgeford.

Just to add, so far as I know, Hilgeford is not Native American...
