I Need Help Indentifying Hallmark on my Silver Salt Shaker

Hi all! This is my first post here. I have a silver salt shaker and I can't identify the maker. Here's the pictures:




The mark, as far as I can tell, reads;

PAT.APLD.FOR
E999

Could be several different makers hard to tell by the picture. Definitely looks to be a mostly deplated low quality silver plated item.

Hi - Middletown Silver Co. would be a good possibility, the novelty 'cocktail shaker' design resembles many of their full-size cocktail shakers...
