help with mark on spoon

Post by firekidd »

I have looked all through the European marks and can not seem to locate this. I do know it is either Danish, Netherlands, or probably Belgium mark. Any help would be appreciated. If I missed the mark on the website I do apologize ahead of time.

Thank you

Hello, the mark on the left hand side (sword with 835) is in use in the Netherlands since 1953. The other marks vaguely remind me of Belgian marks. Maybe someone out there knows more. Best wishes, Bahner

The maker is Hooijkaas of Schoonhoven (still in business), a very prolific producer of both silver and silverplate including souvenir spoons for various countries (including the U.S.).
