Firsly appologies if this is posted in the wrong section.
I am trying to determine who the case maker is of a verge movement pair cased watch that I have aquired. The movement is by Daniel Delander and dates to circa 1715 -1720. The outer case is (I believe) silver gilt and the inner case gold - perhaps 22 carat as the number 22K has been scratched into the case. The makers mark is the same on both cases - TG - but the inner gold case has a heart punch above the initials. I do not know the significance of this but perhaps it is to indicate the gold element rather than the silver element but I have no idea. The closest maker I can find that is of the date of the watch is Thomas Goore but I hope that someone can cast some better light on this.
Thanks and regards,
Trevor
