Trying to identify this spoon. Looks like it says Friedeberg 750 and then a crescent shape. Any ideas on date or info on maker?
Does the shield on the front mean anything?
Thank you so much for the info. The Friedeberg mark threw me. The only info I could find on Friedeberg was an article about Heinrich Friedeberg in Berlin, but not a whole lot of info on the company except jeweler to the nobility and a tsar. I don't think this spoon had anything to do with those families. I also did not know that .750 was considered German silver. I am really enjoying this site. Is it possible to also move this thread to the family crest section? I am curious about the shield on the front of the spoon too. Thank you.
