Help Identifying Marks Please

Post by hunter7 »

Hello all,

I have a large set of art deco cutlery, circa 1920's, i'm sure is silver and not plate, i.e. no magnet attraction, some worn on edges but no steel showing.

There are no marks suggesting it is silver. Each piece has gram weight stamped and a makers mark of crossed trumpets/horns.

I would be extremely great full for any info.[img]

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

The marks are typical of of those used on French silver plated items.

To understand to the numbers, see: http://www.925-1000.com/a_platenumbers.html
