Prince of Wales Feathers?

Post by dognose »

Hi,

Here's an interesting crest noted on a Hanoverian spoon made by Philip Roker II and assayed at London in 1735:

A connection to the Prince of Wales? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Trev - most likely a German crest, no assoc. with PoW. Tho it is quite plain compared to some of what the Germanic knights used to carry on their helmets. Holly
