Hello!
I just purchased this beautiful ring and noticed the markings on the inside. I have figured out it is 9k gold but that is about all I can find on it. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated! I am totally fascinated by this type of jewelry. I hope the photos are with in the allowed size I am sorry if they are slightly bigger just wanted to get a good picture that was clear!

Re: Gold mourning ring markings help.
This is a Chester gold hallmark with the date letter D for 1904. The maker's mark is most likely WGM for Walter George Matthews, listed as a jeweller at 16 Upper Hockley Street, Birmingham.
