Russian figurine - genuine, mark?

Post by sebastian4743 »

I am wondering if this rabbit is genuine Russian silver. What do you think? The length is only 10cm but the silver weights almost 300 grams!

Hi Sebastian,

My vote looking at the (hall)marks: not genuine.

Best,

The figurine is most likely silver;-)))), but the marks are fakes without any doubts whatsoever.

There seems to be an authentic mark (red arrow). Try to identify it or show us when properly cleaned and enlarged enough. Search for additional marks elsewhere, too.
