Swirl V 925 Italy necklace mark

Post by DJButterflies »

Please help me identify this maker. It looks like a cursive V. I've hunted everywhere.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your images are far too small for a positive identification, but check out Viviani here:

It is a stamp for 'Veronese'. A term created by QVC, an American company launched in 1986 (stands for Quality Value Convenience) for a technique of bonding 18k gold to silver, to make a long lasting, rich gold colour. It is similar to rolled gold.

Hi Georgie,

Welcome to the Forum.

Whilst you may well be correct, without be able to see the images, I presume you are only guessing?
