Hi all,
Could someone help me identify the second making in the picture. I can make out what seems to be the lion mark for Scotland, but it's the second stamp marking that's baffling me. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi,
Welcome to the Forum.
The mark is none too clear, but check out the Austrian import marks here:

The item is not Scottish.

Re: Helps identifying silver marks
Thanks for the reply :)
The only other pic I have is this (although it's no good for viewing the second mark that I was originally enquiring about, but you can see the lion mark at a different angle, at least. And it was mainly because of this pic that I though it was Scottish, as it looked like it matched hallmark C in the 2nd pic below,
Let me know your thoughts :)

Re: Helps identifying silver marks
I'm afraid that without better images all I can suggest is possibly an Austrian import mark and as already stated, the item is not Scottish.

No, I know that now, was just showing why I thought it may have been Scottish. Thanks for the help though, and hopefully I can get some better pics here soon :)

The marks are not typical of American silver either - German, manufacturer would be Gebr. Deyhle: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... lit=Deyhle
