Have received this teapot from a close friend's estate. I want to place this on display at our local community center but do not know a thing about its origins. I have a learning disability and often struggle with performing research on technical things in my life. I have tried for week to locate any information regarding this item. I really think this piece of art needs to be shared with all whom visit our welcome center. I reside in NM and live in a tiny mountain community rich in "wild west folklore" so tourism is brought via collections of our local founding families and their collections from the 1800's.
Please do not delete my post, really have no other source for information.
Any help appreciated!

Hi
Welcome to the forum
I have saved, enlarged and embedded one of your images.
I think I can see lion`s tail on the right and the shield with letter ``W`` on the left.
If so, the maker is WHITING MANUFACTURING COMPANY - New York (founded in 1866. Purchased by Gorham in 1924 and moved to Providence, RI in 1926).
More info is here (the link)
