900 silver marked M I , help with ID please.

Has anyone seen this mark, 900 M I , pots are small about 7 3/4" , maybe a chocolate pot set?.... Thank you for any help, Steve

Moving this old post to Middle East for a fresh view - have just seen a piece with the same mark, found in Turkey, and note similarities to some Turkish marks...
