Wine coaster

A wine coaster, 12.5 cm across.

I thought the year might be 1779 and the maker (or importer) Burthold Muller. But would those times fit? Any help would be much appreciated.

I agree the date is 1779 but I think the maker may be Richard Morton, let's see what others think.

Hi,
Burthold Muller has imported Hanau silver in late 19th and beginning 20th century.
Marks look right for Sheffield 1779.
The maker is Richard Morton, Sheffield (worked from c.1773-1796)

Thanks for the reply. I thought the date was right but could not see its was RM rather than BM.
