I need some help identifying these marks. I know the 750 indicates 18k gold, but I am unable to find anything out about the second mark. Any help would be appreciated.
It totally makes sense to me that it is Italian from the early 1960's. This piece was a gift from my father to my mother early in their marraige, and they lived in Italy for their first 6 months as a married couple.
Ha ha! I thought it was VI 17C! Upon closer inspection, it appears to me to be a 6.
And here: Italian Silverware and Jewellery Manufacturers In this topic we are recording and identifying the Italian registration numbers, over 4,000 of them so far and added to on a daily basis. At this moment I don't have any details about the maker of your your bracelet, beyond that they would have registered in c.1954, and that they were likely out of business by 1971. However, new information is coming to light all the time and hopefully another member may have some details, if so the details will be added to that topic, so keep an eye on it for updates.
