Middleton Chapman, London, made late Victorian silver top and cut glass scent bottles.
Middleton Chapman, born 29 Mar 1843, baptized 23 Apr 1843, St. Mary's, Islington, son of Oliver & Elizabeth Hannah Chapman. Married 13 Sep 1864, at St. Mary’s, Islington, to Elizabeth Noyes. His profession then - and in all subsequent censuses - was a dressing case maker. (Presumably his mark was as manufacturer of the silver mountings for the bottles and such in his cases.) He died on 21 Jan 1922, Claverley Park, Tunbridge Wells, Kentshire.
