Help with German (TBC) hallmarks on large charger

Post by hetlamm »

Hi All,

I have a nice, large, silver Charger. I've been told it is likely German, thus I'm posting in this forum. However, I have not been able to identify any of the hallmarks. As such, I'm not sure about the origin, dating or maker for the item.

Pictures attached please cklick through for the larger photo:

1. On top side 3 marks: A crown, what is likely the letter P, and a mark I can't make out
2: On the bottom side: Fleur de lis and a bunch of grapes.

I'm also attaching a picture of a part of the charger in case style helps in attribution. It's a large piece weighing aboug 4 pounds.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Sam

Cropped your pictures so we can see the marks better.
Can't identify them for you. Hope someone comes along who can.
