Large Amber Bracelet Silver Mark. Need Help

Post by skuter »

I have a large amber bracelet with a mark onthe band. I can't seem to locate it. Country of origin and/or dating info would be great. It belonged to my wife's Grandmother. Possibly Polish or slavic area?

Thanks

It was made in Poland, unfortunately I can´t give you a date as the letter to the left of the womans head is not legible.

Thanks. On the mark on the right, there is a "w" to the left of the womans head and what looks like a "3" to the right. Is this 925 or 800 silver? Thanks again

Hello, the head with the "3" is the Polish silver mark used between 1963 and 1986. The "3" is for 800/1000 fine. The "W" is for the assay office at Warszawa. Don't know the maker's mark, sorry. Best wishes, Bahner
