Post by Gerox »

Hello All,
There is a nice Saleron, (Wien 1834-13 Lot or 1854-15 Lot)?

Another item of which I can't find the maker's mark „Kr“.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,
Those late Biedermeier (neo-Baroque),light gauge open salts were made of 13 loth silver (15 loth would be a miracle). So, it`s far more likely to be 1854. Cannot help with the maker.

Hello Krisztián,
Thank you for the info to the 15 loth mark.
Do you have an idea for the Vienna maker's mark „Kr“?
That would be great.
Best regards
