very nice - is there a better image of hallmark and makersmark?
Re: Lübeck silver cup, Germany
Hello, judging by style alone I would rather date this to the middle of the 19th century. Regards, Bahner

It is not 19. or 20. century :-)
There is a little rivet under the handle (in german Nodus). This is typical for old Chalice.
I think it is 17th century. But I can not identify the makersmark on this images.
It is not clear enough.
I use a magnifying glass with the camera to make an image.

Hi,
The node really looks old.
On the other hand, the cup is too perfect for being hammer raised on stake and 400 years old.
But that`s the disadvantage of judging images.
Good luck.
