A. Rasch mark

Post by punkin611 »

I have a footed beaker marked A. Rasch in a rectangle on the bottom. My question is there a way to tell if it was made in N.O. or Pa.? Also, which place did he work last in? Thanking all in advance, punkin611

Anthony Rasch started using the A.RASCH mark in Philadelphia around 1807 according to my references. Also worked as Anthiny Rasch & Company, Chaundron & Rasch and Rasch & Willig in Philadelphia.
Later in his career he worked in New Orleans.

I don't know if he used the A.RASCH mark in New Orleans. He probably was working there sometime after 1820. That's all the information my books have.
