Sterling Silver Earrings - Help Reading mark ?

Hello, newbie here...so please bear with me.

I have these Sterling Silver earrings and I have no idea what country they may be from to look around at. It looks like MF to me, then a copyright logo OR is it MFO ?? I have NO IDEA. IF I google MF - I do come up with ? Merete Fredelund ? but have not found a Example of what that mark looks like......so I am at a dead end. Can you help me please? Thanks in Advance.....again Newbie here on the forum.
