Maker's Mark and Hallmark information

I have a table top vesta with the markings of a crown encircled and S.O.C. On the bottom and what looks to be a U with a curly cue on each end as well as another mark I cannot make out. The piece has various scenes with dogs on a leash, colonial looking scene. The vesta itself is a marquise shape with what looks to be a ship on the top. The piece appears to be sterling silver but there is a copper color coming through. Very well made and beautiful hand punched scene. Could anyone help me with this piece, please?
