I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this 10cm long spoon I have found?
I can see what I believe is the Lion passant and a letter "P" but cannot make out the rest. There is also what appears to be an "E" at the other end of the spoon. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not an E at all. Looking again, it seems to be FS!

Having looked even closer I think that maybe there are letters rubbed off before the F.S. In which case, a likely candidate would be the following:
Maker: Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd (C.S. F. S.)
Year: 1890 / London
Anyone agree?

Re: ID - Shamrock Spoon
This is a London hallmark with the date letter P for 1890. The maker's mark is CS FS in separate boxes for Saunders & Shepherd (Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd) although only the FS survives in recognisable form:
The handle of the spoon seems to have been re-formed at some point after the hallmarking, possibly converted from a rectangular to a cylindrical cross-section.
Phil
p.s. I note that your thoughts have beaten me to the solution, but I'll still post what I have composed.

Thank you very much for taking the time to confirm! Gives me confidence that I'm going through the right thought processes myself :)
