Unique Mark Cannot Be Found Please Help
Unique Mark Cannot Be Found Please Help
Antique sterling silver tested wire work basket believed to be Georgian Scottish but unsure. One mark shows what appears to be a pig facing left, the other mark os a bouquet of criss cross arrows and the letter J underneath. Would love to know if it is infact scottish or origin/maker.

Re: Unique Mark Cannot Be Found Please Help
Thank you for your help, this is the first time I use a forum. I would like to also note that the mark is located in two locations, once on the handle and agin on the bottom rim of the basket.

Hi,
The marks appear to be Portuguese (Porto). Sorry I cannot help with the maker.
