Hi
I am new here so please be patient
I inherited a ring, which is marked 750 & a star with 914 VI
The person that left me the ring bought most of a jewellrey from Italy.
It is set with diamonds & a ruby or garnet. The diamonds are set in white gold ? The rest is yellow gold.
I presume the 750 is for 18 carat gold but wanted to know more about the Italian number
Thanks for any help

Hi Charlie,
For a good answer we need an enhanced clear image of the marks.
Peter.

Re: Italian Gold registration number
yes, 750 (into a lozenge) is 18k gold
white gold is used to not change diamond color
goldsmith number should be same as per silver (same number same manufacturer)...but not completely sure.
