Yes the spoon is from Norway. It is made by Jørgen Pedersen Rødberg 1696-1763. He became master 1729 in Trondheim.

Re: Help to identify a hallmark on Norwegian spoon
Thank you very much again. I have checked this spoon now and I'm just wondering, how it could be that the name of the silverthmis is Jørgen Pedersen Rødberg, but the hallmark is JPS (or IPS)? Could you please give me a picture of the correspondent hallmark from the book. Thank you very much.
