Yes the Russian language causes problems to me too. However, I happen to have Latvian version. About Jozess, take a look in your book above #1159. I cannot guarantee anything but the initials fit perfectly. Unfortunately there is no more information than I wrote in my input.
By the way, in Vilites book there are a lot of names without marks, so.....? In that sense it is better than Leistikow. In her book there is not a single registered master mentioned who's mark is not known.
When taking about Latvijas Sudrabkali, make some amendments in it:
p 12
Haufe's second name is Gottlieb, not Gustav
ИС is Ilja Sorokin 1888-1891, not Ivan Spiridonov, the "phantom".
p 13
ДЛ is Danil Lesenko 1880-1886
ЛЗ Ludvig Zuck's working period was 1844-1847 and 1856-1884
IШ was never in Jelgava/Mitau but in Odessa, Baku and Transkaukasia
Forgot to mention: Jozess was located in Ventspils/Windau but there was no assaying office there so he went to Riga in order to have his objects assayed. Therefore the the Riga town mark.
thank you for the update! Some of the from you mentioned things are already corrected in my book (1992 edition). Here a nice directory of the Baltic masters and their marks 1700-1800 from the year 1905.
