French Maker's Mark
I have a French tea caddy with the boar's head stamp that was initiated in 1838 designating .800 silver. My problem is that I can't find any refrence to the makers mark. It is an "S" with a star at the top and bottom of the initial, all set within the lozenge. I have checked all of the resources that I am aware of but I've had no luck. Any help is appreciated, thank you , Kevin

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately, my technical abilities on a computer leave a lot to be desired. I can't seem to get my pictures posted. None the less, I shall endeavour to persevere,.... that means I'll keep trying.
