Water pitcher, prob. italian?

Post by neocortex »

Hello,
I own this beautiful silver water pitcher, but I don't know it's origin or age. I've seen a very similar piece the pope used at the traditional foot washing on Holy Thursday. But the pope's one was in gold. So maybe it's an italian artwork? It's 900-silver with a unknown hallmark (looks like a fox head with spider...)

A post that's worth a bump.

Any thoughts?
