Silversmith ID

Post by madej »

Hello
I got such a cigarette case made in the technique of samorodok.
There is a golden monogram on it and three silver - gold -enamel with Polish nobility coats of arms . The mark are a kokoshnik after 1908,
an Owl - a Polish lombard mark and a Polish mark from 1920-1931. I cant find a silversmith.

Hi
I have no luck to identify the silversmith of the Russian silver I recently bought:(

Now I noticed that I described the item and did not put any pictures except those with hallmarks ;)

Hi,
ГЕ is known to have made cigarette cases but not identified as far as I can tell.
Matching initials ГЕ are not to be found both in Skurlov and Ivanov. No answer in Russian forms either.
I`m clueless.

Regards

Thank you so much.
Maybe someday we'll find out who this ГЕ is.

For the collector in Poland, the value of the item is raised by the fact that there are Polish noble coat of arms on the cigarette case
