Hello all. I'm trying to find some info on a pendant I came across recently. I am mainly concerned with the time period it might have been made and probable country of origin. It has no makers marks that I can find, but it is marked "Sterling". It looks like it was cast, but made to look like repose. At the bottom on the front there was apparently a crack in the mold, and there is some extra material on the back near the point of the heart. Any information or ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Sterling Heart/Key/Rose Pendant
it appears to be a recasting of a Reed & Barton Christmas ornament. the originals were die-struck with a flat backing (hollow inside).

Sure enough, there it is. I wonder why someone would have made a "copy". Especially out of sterling. Thanks for the info!
